About Event
An awareness programme on “Water Borne Diseases†was organized by the Department of Management Studies on 1st December, 2021 for the non-teaching staff members of our college. Dr. O.V.Ravikumar, Head, Department of Microbiology addressed the audience.
He briefed about various water borne diseases like malaria, typhoid, cholera and Dengue in a lucid manner. He emphasized on the adage, â€Prevention is better than cureâ€. He advised the participants about the precautionary measures that must be followed in order to stay safe from these kinds of diseases, which are rampant during rainy season.
